Open Auditions For 'The Nutcracker' On Sunday Planned At LTHS

LOCKPORT, IL — The LTHS 205 Foundation and the Dance Theater of Will County have announced that "The Nutcracker" is coming to Lockport Township High School in December, according to the District.

The dance theater is hoping to include LTHS students and the community; open auditions are on Sunday.

Auditions will be held at certain times, by age: ages 5-8 from 11 a.m. to noon; ages 9-13 from noon to 1:30 p.m.; ages 14+ from 2 to 4 p.m.; and adults from 4 to 5 p.m. The auditions are at the LTHS East auditorium.

Dancers should bring a photo, and wear black leotards, pink tights and ballet shoes, (ballet dancewear for gentlemen), according to a news release. Pointe shoes should be brought if you have them.

Performances for "The Nutcracker" will be held on Dec. 8,9 and 10 at LTHS.
