Are you looking to give your child a jump start on becoming Future Ready?
Homer Community Consolidated School District 33C offers a preschool program for youngsters ages 3-5.
Taught by licensed teachers and related services staff, the Little Learners preschool program enables children of all ability levels to get a head start on learning by working on their pre-academic and social skills with teaching professionals.

Parents will have an opportunity to see how the classrooms are organized and learn more about the program by attending an Open House on Feb. 23 at Young School, 16240 S. Cedar Road, Homer Glen.
Stop by the school at 5:30 p.m. and meet Special Services Program Coordinator Patrice Ryan in the main office. She will escort visitors to the Little Learners wing where they will visit classrooms and hear an overview of the district’s preschool program.

Visitors also will tour the school’s gymnasium, library and music room where Little Learners enjoy physical education, reading time and music activities.
Children are welcome to attend the Open House as organizers plan to offer a child-geared activity.
Homer 33C’s Little Learners program meets five days a week during the school year from August to June. Program options may include a morning session (9:05 a.m. to 11:35 a.m.) or an afternoon session (12:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.)
Tuition is $250 a month.
Participants must be district residents, between the ages of 3 and 5 (as of Sept. 1, 2016), toilet trained and pass a preschool screening.
While registration is offered year-round, space is limited. Openings will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
