Outdoor Seating Approved For Tavern In The Glen
The new tavern is set to open later this month.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Homer Glen's newest business has also been approved for outdoor seating. At its meeting on Aug. 14, the Homer Glen village board approved a special use permit to allow outdoor seating at Tavern in the Glen, located at 15761 S. Bell Road.
Tavern in the Glen will be opening in the old At Ease Craft Beer Pub building on the south side of the Grove Valley Center. According to board documents, 15 feet of the 37-foot existing drive aisle, just south of the building, will be used for the outdoor seating area. Protection bollards will be installed around the perimeter of the seating area.
A concrete pad will be poured for the seating area, and a new ADA accessible ramp will also be installed, board documents state. The seating area will be fully enclosed, and there will be a black canopy over the seating.

According to the business' website, Tavern In The Glen will hold its grand opening later in August.
