Over 600 Still Without Power In Lockport
The status of one of the largest outages is listed as "additional crews required," and has an estimated restoration of 3 p.m. Saturday.
LOCKPORT, IL — More than 24 hours after Monday's storms, there are over 600 Lockport residents without power. According to the ComEd outage map, there are 650 without power in Lockport and 39 with no power in Lockport Township.
One of the largest outages in Lockport is off of State Street near St. Joseph Church. The status of that outage is listed as "additional crews required," and has an estimated restoration of 3 p.m. Saturday.
The public works department will also be picking up downed branches and trees throughout the rest of the week.

According to a notification from the city, priority will be given to roads and sidewalks to provide safe travel for drivers and pedestrians. Branches pulled to the curb will be picked up by the city after all roadways and sidewalks have been cleared.
If you are in need of branch removal, you can place branches at the curb and allow up to a few days for the branches to be removed.
