Public Safety is most important

Public Safety at risk, criminal illegals may be lurking on your street

Public Safety is of utmost importance

This is the Attorney General Opinion for calling ICE, and the Video of the Discussion at the Legislative Committee meeting. Jim Moustis and Myself (Steve Balich) see nothing stopping calling ICE.

The bottom line is we have an illegal alien with over 30 arrests finally get caught and arrested for Violently raping 3 women. It seems like the law is vague or against the sheriff or any law enforcement calling ICE, not quite sure yet. There is no unit of law enforcement or government charged with the duty of calling ICE in what I read.

In any event we cannot have criminals, especially those that should not be in our country walking the street. These 3 women are scared for life by an illegal who should have been deported a long time ago.

We need to address this issue before there are any more brutal rapes, or murders in Will County or the rest of the State by people that should have been deported. Eileen Boyce from the Illinois Attorney Generals office said “There is no state wide policy in affect. Each County handles it differently according to Jim Kaitschuk Executive Director of the Illinois Sheriff’s association. In February a judge dismissed a lawsuit against the Mc Henry County Sheriff Bill Prim, alleging he was in violation of the Trust act.

Jim Moustis, Will County Board Speaker, said ICE can be called. Mary Tatroe from the States Attorney office said we cam hold a person for 72 hours for ICE. Phil Mock said there is incentives to call ICE. Bruce Rauner said “A lawbreaker needs to be held based upon breaking the law… immigration officials need to be notified immediately.”

Our current need is setting policy as to when ice is called and who is responsible to make the call. We need this policy sooner than later in the name of Public Safety.
