PureFest Announces Headliners Austin and LeB from Knoxville, TN
PureFest continues growth and reach across nation with the addition of comedic duo from the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.
The second annual PureFest welcomes comedy duo Austin and LeB Presents to headline the September festival. PureFest is Chicago's faith-based improv and sketch festival and features acts from around the country. This years festival begins with a fellowship night for all the performers on Friday, September 27, and the festival performances start at 1pm on Saturday, September 28.
Austin and LeB Presents is the team of Austin Moyer and LeBrandon Marie. Austin and LeB have been doing sketches and improv for their church for many years. Recently, they took their act on the road and have been touring the south and mid-west with stops in Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Virginia, and Indiana. Their show is part improv, part sketch, part (bad) singing, and part dance.

PureFest will open Friday, September 27, with a fellowship night for performers. Included will be a dinner, time of worship, and some improv games played together. The festival performances will start at 1pm on Saturday, September 28, with teams from around the nation performing in half-hour blocks.
