Reed School Hosts Rep Durkin For Principal For The Day Program

HOMER GLEN, IL — Reed students recently welcomed a local leader to the school. State Representative Jim Durkin visited Reed School recently as part of the Illinois Principals Association Principal for the Day Program.

The school said Rep. Durkin was greeted by Reed's Student Ambassadors, who then took him on a tour of the building. Rep. Durkin also visited a classroom as the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay student was recognized, and he ended his visit by meeting with the second grade students where he read a book and discussed how it's never too early to make a difference in the world.
