Reed Students Learn About Bicycle Safety

LOCKPORT, IL — Reed Students recently learned the ABCs of bicycle safety. On March 7, Sheila Hallinan from the Office of the Illinois Secretary of State visited the school and shared bike safety tips with second graders, the school said.

Since spring and bike riding season is right around the corner, Hallinan discussed how to prepare bikes for riding, proper clothing and safety gear to wear and the safest places to ride your bike.
