Scarecrow Lane Planned At Dellwood Park
The community will be able to vote for their favorite scarecrow from Oct. 18 to Oct. 25 at Dellwood Park.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township Park District will host Scarecrow Lane at Dellwood Park starting Oct. 18. According to the park district, the event allows businesses, organizations and families to create a scarecrow to display along the path behind Challenge Fitness.
Registration for the event closes Oct. 12. The community can then vote for their favorite scarecrow from Oct. 18 to Oct. 25. There are categories for silliest, artistic, spookiest, and cartoon/character.
According to the park district, the winners will be announced Oct. 26. The scarecrows will remain on display until Nov. 1.
