Scarecrow Walk Planned In Homer Glen
The scarecrows will be posted along Heritage Circle and the community can view the display and vote for their favorite.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Celebrate fall and join Homer Glen's Scarecrow Walk. The Homer Glen Junior Woman's Club and the Village of Homer Glen are hosting the scarecrow making contest, and the entries will be displayed from Oct. 10 - Oct. 31 in Heritage Park.
According to the village's Facebook page, you can register online to create a scarecrow for the contest. It is $15, which includes a cross to mount your scarecrow. You must register by Sept. 24.
The scarecrows will be posted along Heritage Circle and the community can view the display and vote for their favorite. Three winners will be chosen, according to the village.
