Shredding Event Planned In Lockport

LOCKPORT, IL — The City of Lockport will host a free document shredding event for residents on Sept. 10.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon in the west side parking lot of City Hall, 222 E. Ninth St., according to the city.

Participants will just drive up with their documents, and volunteers will handle the rest, the city said. Shredding will continue until the truck is full or when it is noon, whichever comes first.
