Siegel's Cottonwood Farm Fall Festival Opens Sept. 24

The 32nd annual pumpkin fest kick-off weekend will be held Sept. 24 and Sept. 25 at the farm, 17250 S. Weber Road.

LOCKPORT, IL — Siegel's Cottonwood Farm's fall festival will soon be open for its 32nd season. Known for its yearly corn maze display, this year's corn maze features dinosaurs, and celebrates the iconic "Jurassic Park" movie series, according to a release from the business.

The 10-acre, 5-mile long 2022 corn maze features a T-rex, triceratops and a brontosaurus, as well as palm trees and a volcano.

General admission tickets include more than 40 unlimited attractions and activities, including: seven play areas, trolley lines, tire mountain, farm animals to pet and feed, 125’ Siegel’s Sports Zone, trolley, Spooky Spiral, wagon ride, u-pick pumpkin field, Dino barn, train rides, two cornfield mazes and more.

New attractions include the Dino barn, a Sunshine Cottage play area, and the Cottonwood Railroad. Gem mining and Scrap Yard Shootout and Cottonwood Railroad are available for a small additional fee, according to a release from the farm.

Tickers are $19.95 on weekdays and $24.95 on weekends and Columbus Day. Combo passes are also available, as well as a special needs pass on opening and final weekends, and an after-school special price.

Police, firefighters and military/veterans receive entry into the farm for free; and grandparents are free Monday through Friday (except Columbus Day) with a paid grandchild entry.
