Small Business Owners Launch 'Magical Rainbow Fluff' Cotton Candy
Lockport resident Robin Curtner teamed up with Kristina Magana, who owns I Want Candy in Clarendon Hills, to create a cotton candy line.

LOCKPORT, IL — Magical Marketing-owner Robin Curtner helps local clients and small businesses with social media marketing and email campaigns. During the coronavirus pandemic, the Lockport resident said she was instructing her clients and businesses to think outside the box. Now, she's decided to take her own advice.
Curtner teamed up with another small business owner, Kristina Magana, who owns I Want Candy in Clarendon Hills, to create a new line of cotton candy. Called Magical Rainbow Fluff, it comes in watermelon, blue raspberry, green apple, berry-melon and lemonade flavors.
"I was thinking of different things and working with other business owners, especially women business owners," Curtner said. Her brand's image already included rainbows and "a burst of sweet and color in everything."

"The biggest impact is to be loud and to be out there," she said.
Curtner and Magana teamed up and launched the product in April, and continue to look for candy shops, bakeries or ice cream shops to work with.

Magana told Patch the project has been a great opportunity for both women.
"Looking forward to spreading the Magical Rainbow Fluff everywhere," she said.
Curtner called the cotton candy line a "passion project," and said it's been a great way to support each other.
Magical Rainbow Fluff can be purchased online or at the Creamery in Lemont, Plush Horse in Palos Park or I Want Candy in Clarendon Hills.
