St. Joseph School Lockport Principal Wins Another National Award
Attend Upcoming Open House Events to Explore the Award Winning School!

Lynne Scheffler, principal of St. Joseph Catholic School in Lockport, has done it again; she has won another national award. The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) named her-and two other principals-as a winner of the 2016 National Distinguished Principals Award, which was presented by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) last fall in Washington, D.C.
The school and those associated with it have been consistently lauded for excellence. In 2010, the school was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. In 2015, Father Gregory Rothfuchs, St. Joseph’s pastor, received the Distinguished Pastor Award from the National Catholic Educational Association. In 2016, Scheffler won the NCEA’s “Lead, Learn, Proclaim Award” in recognition for her being one of the best Catholic educators in the country.
St. Joseph School will hold Open House events on January 29th (9am-1pm), January 31st (9-11am) and February 2nd (7 pm). All are welcome to come explore St. Joseph School!
