Starbucks to Open in Homer Glen Thursday

HOMER GLEN, IL - A Starbucks will open in Homer Glen on Thursday, Feb. 16, according to a village official.

The Seattle-based coffee giant will be open for business at 14118 Bell Road at Homer Town Square Thursday morning, according to Economic Development Director Janie Patch.

"We've been working with Starbucks over the past few years and our very excited to see them open the store in Homer Glen," Patch said. "We look forward to them having many successful years here."

Patch said the public will be invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony that will officially welcome the business to the community on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 4 p.m.

Prior to Thursday, the closest Starbucks options for residents of Homer Glen are located at 14200 S. Bell Road in Lockport, 18092 S. Wolf Road in Orland Park and 11359 W. 159th St. in Orland Park.
