Stargazing Planned In Homer Glen
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with nighttime animals from Big Run Ranch; and telescope set-up and stargazing from 8 to 10 p.m.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Enjoy the night sky with a stargazing event at Heritage Park in Homer Glen on Sept. 30.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with nighttime animals from Big Run Ranch; and telescope set-up and stargazing from 8 to 10 p.m.
Big Run Wolf Ranch will present a Canada Lynx, porcupine and skunks during the event, according to the Village website.

Amateur astronomers from the Kankakee Area StarGazers, the Naperville Astronomical Association and the South West Astronomy Observers Group will have large telescopes available for free viewing, according to the Village.
During the event, the Village said Jupiter and Saturn will be the only planets visible, and the moon will be waxing crescent.
