Stuffed Animal Sleepover At Lockport Library

Your stuffed animals are invited to spend the night!

The White Oak Library in Lockport is hosting a Stuffed Animal Sleepover on Friday, January 11th, that feeds into the imaginations of children who really do believe that their stuffed animal friends are more than inanimate toys. Children are being invited to bring their stuffed friends to meet the stuffed animals who already live at the Library for an afternoon program of fun followed by a sleepover -- just for the stuffed animals (not the children!). The following day, children will return to the Library in the morning to pick up their friends and enjoy a special treat together. The reunion promises to be fun and adorable!

We realize that some of the kids may be reluctant to leave their stuffed animals at the library, especially if it's their favorite stuffed animal. Parents are strongly encouraged to allow children to bring two stuffed friends -- one of whom the child is okay with leaving behind for the sleepover.

Parents should register their children for the Friday session at 2:30 pm and plan to return to pick up their stuffed friends at the Saturday session at 11:00 am. For more information, call Children's Services at 815-552-4265 or register now.
