Sunflower Fields Opening Saturday In Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN, IL — M&D Farms, at 14946 S. Bell Road, in Homer Glen will once again open its popular sunflower fields on Saturday.

The business said it had to replant the sunflower fields due to drought. The first day for the fields will be Saturday, and hours of operation will then be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The field closes a half hour before closing times, according to the business. It is $8 per person, ages 3 and under are free. There is a $50 per day fee for photographers, and an appointment is required.

The business said there is also a corn maze and three small butterfly gardens at the farm.
