Taste Of Lockport Returns Sept. 23

LOCKPORT, IL — The second annual Taste of Lockport event will be held on Sept. 23. The event is a collaboration between the LTHS 205 Foundation and the City of Lockport, and features menu items from local restaurants and breweries.
According to the District, the event has the goal of fundraising for LTHS student scholarships, programs, faculty grants, and LTHS community events.
The event is in downtown Lockport, on Hamilton Street in from of City Hall from 5 to 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 23.

Local restaurants will offer a variety of menu items, accepting cash and credit for food purchases. The beer tent will sell beverage tickets to be sold onsite and redeemed for alcohol purchases, according to a release.
New this year, designated driver wristbands are available, and the designated driver will receive complimentary non-alcoholic drinks to enjoy.

In addition to local food and drink, "Friday At Five" will take the stage at 5:30 p.m., followed by headliner "Maggie Speaks" at 7:30 p.m.
Purchase your pre-sale tickets online or at Nik & Ivy Brewing Company for $10 until Sept. 22. Tickets will be available at the door of the event for $15. Admission is free for students.
The Taste of Lockport will be held rain or shine.
