Town Center Community Workshop Planned In Homer Glen

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Village of Homer Glen will host a community workshop on May 16, to discuss the visioning process and ideas for a town center for Homer Glen.
The workshop will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. May 16 in the community room at Village Hall.
According to the Village, the workshop will begin as an informal open house, and then at 5:45 p.m., the planning team will give a presentation and begin group engagement.

If you can't make the workshop, there will also be a pop-up booth sharing more information, at the kite fest on May 13, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Village is also offering an online survey for residents to share their thoughts for a town center.

According to the project website, the town center project is still in phase 1, "engage and access." The project will move to phase 2, "market assessments," in June.
