HOMER GLEN, IL — Fall is officially here, and that means Halloween is just a few short weeks away. In Homer Glen, trick-or-treating hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
The Village has several fall events planned, including a Trunk or Treat event and a Halloween pet costume photo contest.
The "Dress Your Pet" Halloween costume photo contest calls for photos of your pet in costume. Be sure to include your contact information, pet's name, and details about your pet's costume, and email a photo to events@homerglenil.org.

Photos will then be posted to the Village Facebook page, and the photo with the most likes will win a prize, according to the Village website.
The deadline to enter is Oct. 26.

The Village will also hold a Trunk or Treat event at Heritage Park on Oct. 22. Drop by the park from 3 to 5 p.m. for trick-or-treating in decorated, candy-filled trunks.
