Tulips In The Park Planned At Heritage Park

HOMER GLEN, IL — With spring just around the corner, residents, families and businesses can participate in the Village of Homer Glen's Tulips in the Park event.

Wooden tulip flowers will be supplied to participants, who can decorate their flower, and it will be displayed in Heritage Park.

Registration for the event opens on March 15, according to the Village Facebook. Tulip pick-up is April 3, and tulips must be dropped off on April 24.

The decorated tulips will then be displayed throughout the park in May, according to the Village. The tulips will be about four and a half feet tall.

Only 100 tulips are available, and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
