Valentine greetings from Schilling School

Schilling School kindergartners shared a little love this Valentine’s Day with the Will County Sheriff’s Department and children at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago.

The kindergartners sent electronic valentines to the hospitalized children and made paper valentines for the Will County Sheriff’s Office in Homer Glen.

Deputy Lane, Sgt. Roberts and Deputy Platos stopped by the school to collect the valentines, as well as an assortment of cookies to take back to the station.

Students have been learning about what it means to be a loving person and how to show others love.
