Volunteers Needed For Homer Glen's HomerFest June 22-25
The Village said volunteering is open to anyone 14 years and older.
HOMER GLEN, IL — Volunteers are needed for this year's HomerFest in Homer Glen. The annual fest will be held June 22-June 25 at Heritage Park.
The Village said volunteering is open to anyone 14 years and older. You can sign up online.
The fest features a carnival, vendors, fireworks, a parade and more.

HomerFest MegaPasses are also already on sale. The MegaPass gives unlimited carnival rides for all four days of the event, according to the Village. The pre-sale runs through June 21.
The pass is $65 during the pre-sale, and is $75 if purchased at the fest. The MegaPasses can only be purchased at Village Hall, 14240 W. 151st St., and the Ace Hardware, 12121 W. 159th St. Village Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Festival hours are:
- June 22: carnival from 3 to 11 p.m., vendors from 5 p.m. to midnight and fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.
- June 23, Special Needs program at the carnival from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., carnival open from 5 p.m. to midnight, vendors from 5 p.m. to midnight
- June 24, Homer Township Annual Independence Day parade at 10:30 a.m., carnival from noon to midnight, vendors from noon to midnight
- June 25, carnival from noon to 10 p.m., vendors from 1 to 10 p.m., senior day from 2 to 4 p.m., and salute to the soldiers from 2 to 2:45 p.m.
