Art of Illinois: A Bicentennial Celebration

Calling all artists from Galena to Cairo! From Quincy to Danville! We want you! Illinois is rich with talented artists and we want to showcase them in the “The Art of Illinois: A Bicentennial Celebration” at Gallery Seven, 200 west 8thStreet, Lockport, in the historic Gaylord Building. We are seeking artists over 18 years of age, living in Illinois, to exhibit their work in a show highlighting the immensely talented artists from Illinois.

“The Art of Illinois: A Bicentennial Celebration” a juried fine art show, is accepting submissions of 2d and 3d work July 1stto August 15th. For the Prospectus visit www.galleryseven.net (under Events and Information) All media except film/video are welcome. Notifications of acceptance will be sent the week of August 28th.

Gallery Seven has joined Illinois’ celebration of its 200-year birthday and Illinois Bicentennial has officially endorsed this event!

Gallery Seven is managed by a group of local artists, located at 200 West 8thStreet, Lockport, in the historic Gaylord Building. Open Wednesday- Saturday: Noon to 5:00 p.m., Sunday: Noon-3:00 p.m. All exhibited work at Gallery Seven is for sale.
