Will County Sheriff's Office Participates In Cop On A Rooftop

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Office will participate in the Special Olympics Cop on a Rooftop event on Friday. The annual event is a partnership between the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics Illinois, according to the department.

Officers across the state collect money to benefit Special Olympics Illinois at participating Dunkin' locations.

In Homer Glen, Will County sheriff's deputies will be at the Dunkin' at 14135 S. Bell Road from 5 a.m. to noon.

The sheriff's office said T-shirts, coffee mugs, and other Special Olympics merchandise will be available for purchase.

Lockport Police officers will also be at the Dunkin' locations at 1069 E. Ninth St. and 730 S. State St., in Lockport.
