Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At Lockport Gas Station

LOCKPORT, IL — If you recently bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Lockport, you may want to check it right away. The Illinois Lottery said a gas station in Lockport sold a $250,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Saturday, June 29 evening drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at Speedway, 1004 E. Ninth St., and matched all five numbers – 13 - 16 - 21 - 26 - 28 – to win the jackpot. According to the Illinois Lottery, the retailer will receive a bonus of $2,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery said the winner must sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the lottery’s five prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
