Winter Wonderland In The Woods Planned At Messenger Woods
Enjoy a festive campfire and hot chocolate on Dec. 4 in the preserve.
HOMER GLEN, IL — The Forest Preserve District of Will County will hold a campfire in the woods on Dec. 4 at Messenger Woods Nature Preserve in Homer Glen.
The free, all-ages event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature a campfire, s'mores, hot chocolate and pictures with the abominable snowman.
Guests can also wear their ugly sweaters to the event, and a photo booth will be provided for festive photos, according to the preserve. There will also be games and activities.

No registration is required for the event, which will be held at Hawthorn Grove Shelter in the preserve.
