I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Extended Cab with and 8 foot bed, locking cap and ladder rack for sale. The body on this truck has 218000 miles on it however the engine was completely rebuilt by a shop at 180000 miles (with receipt for proof). The transmission was just rebuilt last week and comes with a 12 mo./12000 mile warranty (again with receipt). It has also had the rear end rebuilt within the past couple years (in the process of locating receipt). The truck was an extra truck for the past two years or so and we have decided that it is now time for it to go help someone else make money as a great work truck or just a handy truck to have around. It has had a bunch of work done to it within the past month to make sure whoever purchases this truck gets a great WORKING vehicle. It has a K&N air filter, new battery with a battery terminal, Flasher, rear locks for the cap, tune up (cap, rotor, plugs, wires, coil) Oil change (oil, filter) windshield wipers, horn, gas struts for cap, U-joint, all four tires are in great condition, the rear are Kelley’s and the front are Bridgestone’s, it also has a brand new front brake job (rotors, pads, and grease seals) the rear brakes have also recently been done with new drums and shoes, it has a good bed-liner in it with a locking three window cap, and a low profile ladder rack, a U-haul installed tow hitch with wiring, the interior is in great condition with a custom wooden center council that you can actually put a pop can in without it falling out! The truck does have crank windows and manual locks, as far as that goes the truck is relatively simple. Not too many upgraded features but that is why we bought it, a nice simple work truck. The bad parts about this truck, two of the windows ON THE CAP between the bed and cab of the truck are broken, but it would be impossible for this to allow someone to break into either the truck or cap. No A/C (but the windows work fine!) And the body does have some cosmetic issues; the paint has scratches and some dents and rust in the pictures. Remember this truck was used as a residential construction companies truck so it was used as that, a truck. Mechanically this truck is in great condition with paper work to prove it and I would be happy to let anyone’s mechanic look this over to verify what I am claiming. I ask 5,700 based on Kelly Blue Book if I plugged in the mileage of the new motor (36,000) I get a selling price of 7,300 in fair condition because of the cosmetic issues.
