2 Charged With Retail Theft At Kohl's: Cops

Homewood police have written multiple citations for driving while suspended recently.

The following information is from the Homewood Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Retail Theft

Jalynn Linder, 18, Matteson and Kalilah Harris, 18, Park Forest were charged with retail theft at Kohl's, 17620 Halsted at 8:38 p.m. on Aug. 7. Linder and Harris concealed clothing items and exited the store without making payment for the merchandise which had a total retail value of $966.97.

Driving While License Suspended

Danielle S. Wright, 23, Chicago was stopped in the 3000 block of 183rd Street at 9:58 a.m. on Aug. 7 and cited with a seat belt violation, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended/revoked.

Robert Garmon Jr., 22, Hazel Crest was stopped at 183rd Street and Kedzie Avenue at 12:27 a.m. on Aug.9 and cited with a seat belt violation, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, driver's license not on person and driving while suspended/revoked.

Kaylan Williams, 20, Dolton was stopped in the 18500 block of Halsted at 2 a.m. on Aug. 9 and was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended/revoked.

Jarrett Rembert, 24, Country Club Hills was stopped at 183rd Street and Riegel Road at 11:03 a.m. on Aug. 9 and was cited for a seat belt violation, driving while suspended/revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia (grinder).
