HOMEWOOD, IL — Heads up to Homewood residents, as crews are working to repair two water main breaks.
Public Works crews are on the scene in the 1700 block of Olive, and Birch/Poplar/Hillview area, the Village said on social media.
"Main break can happen for several reasons and are a normal part of operating a water utility," the Village said. "Temperature changes, overly dry, or overly wet weather can cause the ground to shift. This results in breaks to the water main pipes."
