6-Year-Old Boy Missing In Glenwood Found Safe: Police

GLENWOOD, IL — A 6-year-old boy reported missing in Glenwood Saturday was found safe later that day. The boy was found with a family member who did not have a phone, police said.

Police issued a text alert to residents, in addition to an alert phone call.

Glenwood police are worked with surrounding agencies such as Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm Systems, Cook County bloodhounds, and others to help bring the case to a close.
