Aggravated Battery Involving Gun Unfolding On Jeffery Drive: Homewood PD

HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood police are on the scene of an incident on Jeffery Drive, authorities said Wednesday afternoon.

Homewood police are responding to a reported aggravated battery involving a firearm in the 1300 block of Jeffery Drive, police said.

There is no current threat to the public, police said.

Residents and motorists are asked to avoid the area while officers investigate the incident.
