Alana Clark is Glenwood Academy’s Student of the Month
Alana Clark, 13, has been named the Glenwood Academy Student of the Month

Alana Clark has been chosen as the Glenwood Academy Student of the Month! Alana is 13, and in eighth grade. She has attended Glenwood Academy for five years.
She came to Glenwood Academy because “the schools that were near us weren't great schools,” says Alana. “There were a lot of fights, and the education was not very good.”
Alana has one brother who is 14-years-old and attended Glenwood Academy. He now is a student at Marian Catholic High School, where Glenwood Academy helps to pay his tuition.

Alana plans to attend Marian Catholic High School after she graduates from Glenwood Academy.
When she gets older, she would love to become a professional singer because she loves music. She would like to sing pop or R&B music.
"Alana is such a responsible young woman who has an incredibly bright future ahead of her,” said Mrs. Budicin, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Admissions, Glenwood Academy.
When asked what her favorite thing about Glenwood Academy is, Alalna says, “I like how Glenwood gives us opportunities to do things, and living in the cottages teaches us life skills like cooking.”
“Since coming to Glenwood Academy, things are easier now, because I have more people to depend on and to help me with what I need.”
