HOMEWOOD, IL — Homewood residents are invited to come together for an evening of community, conversation, and fun. National Night Out is an opportunity to meet your neighbors, connect with local first responders, and help strengthen the partnerships that make our community safer and stronger.
Homewood's National Night Out is set for 5 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 4, in the Village Hall parking lot, 2020 Chestnut Rd.
The nationwide event held annually on the first Tuesday in August "promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer," according to the National Association of Town Watch, the organization that founded the event in 1984.
Residents are invited to bring their family and enjoy an evening filled with activities, community spirit, and the chance to get to know the people who make Homewood such a great place to live.
