Dear Reader,
Movement comes in many forms. We can run, swim, dance, stretch, draw, or write. We can move quickly or slowly, with intention or with little awareness of the moment.
One of my favorite things about movement through yoga is the invitation to slow down and truly notice. How does my body feel today? Where am I holding tension? How do I experience myself in the space around me?
This week, take a little time to slow down and simply observe what it feels like to move. Stretch, fold, bend, reach, and breathe. Be in your body exactly as it is in this moment, without needing to change or improve anything. Instead, see if you can appreciate your body for all the ways it carries you, supports you, and allows you to experience the world.
With warmth,
Liz

Listen | Dancing is one of my favorite ways to move (especially when the right song comes on). Listen to "Free" by Florence + the Machine and let me know if it inspires you to move. If not, what song does?
Try This | Choose one person you pass today- a cashier, a commuter, a stranger on the street- and silently wish them something simple: rest, courage, relief, or love. You may never see the result, but perhaps some small part of the world just shifted toward kindness and connection.
How can you move your body this week?
