Heather Medical Associates Celebrates 50 Years in Practice and Joins Advocate Medical Group

Heather Medical Associates, Ltd., Hazel Crest, Ill., is celebrating 50 years of bringing the Hazel Crest community superior health care.  This celebration also was marked by the long standing physician office joining Advocate Medical Group (AMG).

The Heather Medical Associates - Advocate Medical Group office will remain located at 3330 W. 177^th Street, Suite 1A in Hazel Crest. The Internal Medicine physicians are:

Fakher Habib, M.D.,
Kathleen O’Shea-Wilk, M.D.
David Wilk, M.D.

“While we are now part of Advocate Medical Group, we will continue to provide excellent care, prompt follow up, and great access to care for the Hazel Crest community,” said Dr. David Wilk.

Advocate Medical Group is one of the state’s largest medical groups and part of Advocate Health Care. Patients can be referred to nearby Advocate South Suburban Hospital for hospital care needs.

The physicians already have built a foundation with Advocate South Suburban Hospital. Dr. Wilk is currently the Medical Director of their Skilled Nursing Facility. Dr. Habib is serving as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine.  Dr. Baghdan is the current Medical Director of the Physician Hospital Organization (PHO) at Advocate South Suburban Hospital.
