JEWEL-OSCO Salutes Its African-American Vendors with "A Taste of Black History"

JEWEL-OSCO is celebrating “Black History Month” this February with “A Taste of Black History,” a special program that recognizes the retailer’s African-American vendor partners.  During the month-long initiative, JEWEL-OSCO is hosting free tasting events, to give customers an opportunity to try its African-American vendor
products.

Store Director Charnita Gordon (center) greeted customers during a recent sampling event at the JEWEL-OSCO at 3153 W. 183rd St., in Homewood, Ill.  Gordon was joined by Nathanael Cole (left), event manager for Captivate Marketing Group, and Asjhra Harper, brand ambassador for WVON Radio and Captivate Marketing Group.

The Homewood tasting was one of 12 JEWEL-OSCO will hold at select stores throughout February.  For a complete calendar list of tastings go to JEWEL-OSCO’s Facebook page at: http://on.fb.me/Xom9EW
