This week's featured pet from South Suburban Humane Society is a terrier, pit bull mix.
Excuse the pun, we couldn’t resist. Everyone meet 1-year-old Pirate.
He was surrendered by his owners for reasons unknown to the shelter, but Pirate knows “it wasn’t because of something I did.”
He is described as a “well-behaved, handsome young stud who loves to play.” He enjoys a thorough butt scratching and romping outside with his human family. He would do best as the only dog in a household.
