Art Auction Will Benefit Shelter

Proceeds from a June 8 event at Bottle & Bottega in Homewood will benefit the South Suburban Family Shelter.

HOMEWOOD, IL -- A local art studio will host an auction next week that will benefit the South Suburban Family Shelter. Donated original artwork will be sold at Bottle & Bottega, 2009 Ridge Road in Homewood from 6:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 8. It will be held on the eve of Homewood's Art and Garden Street Fair.

"It will be a fun evening to mingle with local artists, enjoy some wine and cheese, and bid on original artwork," according to a news release promoting the event.

Donations for the shelter outside of the auction may be dropped off at the shelter's administrative office at 18139 Harwood in Homewood during daytime hours or at Bottle & Bottega on evenings from 7-9:30 p.m.
