Parents in Homewood can mark the first day of school coming later this month.
HOMEWOOD, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Homewood School District 153 for the 2022-2023 academic school year, with calendars available to help parents prepare their children for a smooth transition into the new school year.
The first day of school for grades K-8 students in District 153 is Aug. 24.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Homewood.
