Banned From Walmart, Woman Shows Up With Cocaine: Cops
DUI charges have been filed against a man accused of causing a car crash at 183rd and Aberdeen: Homewood Police Blotter.

Driving While Suspended
Ryan Smith, 31, of Phoenix, Illinois was stopped at 175th Street and Halsted at 2:18 a.m. on May 29 and was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended/revoked.

Percy Harrison, 42, of Forest Park was stopped at Elm Road and Dixie Highway at 3:19 p.m. on May 29 and cited for expired registration, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Charles Bryant, 35, of Markham was stopped in the 18200 block of Kedzie Avenue at 8:47 p.m. on May 29 and was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended/revoked.

Antwan Higgins, 32, of Country Club Hills was stopped at 187th and Riegel Road at 1:36 a.m. on May 30 and was cited for driving while license suspended/revoked.
Justin Slaughter, 26, of Park Forest was stopped at 183rd Street and Dundee Avenue at 11:05 a.m. on May 31 and was cited for driving while license suspended/revoked.
Gordon Roberts Waites, 22, of Park Forest was stopped at 183rd Street and Park Avenue at 11:23 p.m. on May 31 and was cited for disobeyed traffic control device and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Glen Escobedo, 50, of Markham was stopped at 175th and Halsted at 5:09 p.m. on June 2 and was cited for expired registration and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Raymundo Tapia, 54, of Harvey was stopped in the 17600 block of Halsted Street at 10:28 a.m. on June 3 and was cited for a seat belt violation and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Victor Cortez, 32, of Merrillville, Indiana was stopped at Ridge Road and Halsted Street at 4:47 a.m. on June 4 and was cited for driving while license suspended/revoked.
Kwame Barker, 26, of Country Club Hills was stopped at 175th Street and Governors Highway at 9:35 a.m. on June 6 and cited for tinted windows/obstructed view and driving while license suspended/revoked.
Elaine Jacox, 30, of the 1100 block of 191st Street was stopped in the 1200 block of 183rd Street at 8:15 a.m. on June 6 and was cited for speeding, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended/revoked.
DUI
Vincent Mclean, 47, of the 1200 block of Evergreen Road was stopped at 185th Street and Center Avenue at 4:39 p.m. on May 29 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving in the wrong lane and improper lane usage.
Retail Theft
Victorya Ricks, 20, of Markham was charged with retail theft at Target, 17605 S. Halsted St. at 3:26 p.m. on May 30. Ricks concealed items and exited the store without paying for the merchandise which had a total retail value of $73.46.
Traffic Crash
Craig Hall, 45, of Richton Park was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, aggravated driving while license suspended/revoked, aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic crash at 2:21 a.m. on June 1 at 183rd and Aberdeen streets.
Trespassing / Possession Of A Controlled Substance
Beatrice Dykes, 53, of Chicago Heights was charged with criminal trespass to real property and possession of a controlled substance at 5:43 p.m. on June 3 at Walmart, 17550 S. Halsted St. Dykes entered Walmart after having been given prior notice that she was not allowed on the property. Dykes had in her possession approximately 5.1 grams of a white substance (suspect cocaine).
