BDTV 228 Wins Public Service Announcement Contest
The Illinois Heart Rescue Organization sponsored the contest

The Bremen High School District 228 Communication Arts & Technology program was recently awarded $7,500 from the Illinois Heart Rescue Organization for their Hand Only Public Service Announcement videos. Students from Hillcrest and Oak Forest were awarded honorable mention and Bremen High School students won the contest. The videos are available for viewing at www.bdtv228.net under the IHR Contest playlist. The students may also be recognized this summer by the Chicago Cubs CPR Day where the videos will be broadcast before the game. Illinois Heart Rescue's goal is to increase the survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest through education and awareness and is funded by Medtronic Foundation Philanthropy. The Communication Arts & Technology program is taught by Michael Lynch.
