Beer Donations Sought for South Suburban Humane Society Gala

South Suburban Humane Society will host its annual fundraising gala Saturday, April 25, and is seeking donations for items in the silent auction.

Each week, shelter staff will take to Facebook to request the item: this week, it’s all about the brews. They’re looking for beer.

Do you have a favorite craft beer or a bottle of something unique? Drop it off at the shelter Mondays or Wednesdays 12 to 7 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays 12 to 5 p.m. or Sundays 1 to 4 p.m., or email volunteer@southsuburbanhumane.org to arrange a time.

The “There’s No Place Like Home” gala will be held at Holiday Inn Matteson, 500 Holiday Plaza Drive from 6 to 10 p.m. on April 25. For tickets, click here.
