Blue-Top Drive-In Hosts Elvis Night
The Blue Top Drive-In in Highland is hosting Elvis Night on Saturday, July 18 from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Calling all Elvis fans. The Blue Top Drive-In in Highland is hosting Elvis Night on Saturday, July 18 from 4 p.m. to midnight. Elvis lovers will enjoy great music, stylish cars and a special performance by the star of All Shook Up, the new musical at the Theatre at the Center in Munster. There will be a contest for the Best Elvis, and also an Elvis Pelvis dance-off.
To start things off for the evening, David Sajewich, the lead actor from All Shook Up at Theatre at the Center in Munster, will appear at 6 p.m. to perform two Elvis hits from the energetic new musical. After the performance, Sajewich will emcee the Blue Top Drive-In’s Best Elvis contest. Audience members will help the Blue Top find the best Elvis look-alike/sound-alike. Guests are encouraged to bust out their jumpsuits and don some sideburns and take part in the festivities in honor of “the King”. First prize for the Best Elvis is $150 plus two tickets to see All Shook Up at the Theatre at the Center. All Shook Up opens on July 16 and continues through August 16 is a jukebox musical featuring the music of Elvis Presley. In addition to the Best Elvis contest, there will be an Elvis Pelvis dance-off. The person with the coolest hip-shaking moves will win two mouth-watering Blue Top hamburgers. The four runners up will win one delicious hamburger each. This family friendly event is free and open to the public. And since Saturday night is always cruise night at the Blue Top, there will be hundreds of classic cars for guests to enjoy. The historic

All Shook Up at Theatre at the Center
Based on the book by Joe DiPietro and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley, All Shook Up opens at the Theatre at the Center on July 16 and runs through August 16, 2015. Loosely based on William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, and the music of Elvis Presley, All Shook Up is set in the Midwest in 1955. The story follows Natalie, a young girl with dreams of hitting the road, and Chad, a charismatic roustabout who brings rock and roll to the town and changes it forever. Hailed as "the best rock show since Grease", this hip-swiveling, lip-curling, action-packed musical will have audiences jumpin' out of their blue suede shoes with 24 Elvis classics, including "Heartbreak Hotel," "Jailhouse Rock," "All Shook Up," "Love Me Tender," and "Don't Be Cruel."
