“As we were leaning in you just heard this huge thud,” Ryan, 25, told ABC News. “I first thought she’d tripped over something, so I stifled a laugh.”

The sun and stifling air of a Chicago summer day had gotten the best of Grace, who fainted after spending time outdoors for photos.

“I’m pretty sure it was the hottest day of the year,” the groom said of their July 25 wedding. “We’d all been standing in the sun doing pictures. ... I know I was dripping with sweat.”

Grace got back on her feet, though a little shaky, and the show went on after she was taken to the bridal party room for something to eat and drink. Wedding photographer Sean Cook perfectly captured the moments leading up to, during, and after the mishap at Ravenswood Event Center.

“As we’re redoing the kiss, you can see the flowers on the ground that she kind of knocked down,” Ryan told ABC.

Since being posted on Imgur, the photo has captured the attention of the Internet, with 1.5 million views.

The teen wasn’t aware of her world wide web stardom until Ryan told her she’s “a little bit Internet-famous right now.”
