Yoga nidra, often called yogic sleep, is a deeply restful guided meditation designed to support profound relaxation and renewal. In this practice, you’ll be invited to lie back comfortably on your mat, close your eyes, and be guided through a gentle journey inward as the body rests and the mind settles into a state between waking and sleep.

As the nervous system softens, yoga nidra helps activate the body’s natural healing processes, supporting physical restoration, emotional balance, and mental clarity. This practice can be especially beneficial for reducing stress, improving sleep quality, and cultivating a sense of inner steadiness and ease.

No movement is required. You are encouraged to make yourself as comfortable as possible, using props, blankets, or layers to stay warm and supported. Please bring a yoga mat and anything else that will help you rest fully, such as a pillow, eye covering, or extra blanket.

To ensure that you can maximize the relaxing benefits of yoga in our studio, please note the following:

  • Classes begin promptly at the time listed on the calendar. Doors will be locked once class begins.
  • Please plan to arrive between 10-15 minutes before class starts.
  • Bring your own yoga mat.
  • Please stay home if you feel sick in any way (COVID-related or not).
  • If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for, please deregister as soon as possible. You will not be able to deregister within 1 hour of the class start time.
  • If you do not deregister, a class credit will be deducted from your account. If you are a Monthly Unlimited member and you do not deregister, you will be charged the drop-in rate of $28.
