Serendipity Yoga

We will gather monthly to explore the current astrological sun sign and its unique qualities. Each planet and zodiac sign is connected to specific areas of the physical body, offering insight into how cosmic energies may be reflected within us. Together, we’ll move through a thoughtfully designed yoga practice and incorporate meditation, affirmations, essential oils, journaling prompts, and altar suggestions to help embody and connect with the sign of the season.
The zodiac begins with Aries, the sun sign spanning March 21–April 19. Aries season opens on the Spring Equinox, the sacred midpoint between the winter and summer solstices—a time of balance, renewal, and forward momentum. A fire sign symbolized by the bold and courageous ram, Aries is ruled by Mars, the planet of action and vitality. This season invites you to awaken your inner warrior and channel your energy toward growth, courage, and your highest potential.


The phrase&nbsp;“As above, so below”&nbsp;reminds us that the universe and the individual are deeply interconnected, reflecting one another. We’ll discuss the current cosmic influences and explore ways to ground and center ourselves for greater self-awareness, balance, and personal growth.


Please bring your yoga mat and an optional notebook or journal to record insights and revelations.&nbsp;You are invited to come dressed comfortably, bring your yoga mat, and wear anything that helps you feel comfortable when lying down and moving.
When you register, you may pay for a single session, use a class credit from a package, or use your monthly membership.

&nbsp;Gemini season falls between spring and summer, from May 21 to June 21. This shift in energy is the air element moving us along, symbolized by the twins (a sign of duality), representing a light, expansive force that invites us to move outward in our minds and actions. The planet Mercury rules Gemini, the planet of communication, inspiring us to exchange ideas, explore what interests us, and to connect with others.

Cancer | June 23


Cancer sun season always occurs at the start of the summer solstice, when the sun is at its highest position in the sky, bringing us longer days and shorter nights, from June 21 to July 22. The crab is the symbol of Cancer, and crabs often molt, shedding their old shell to move on to the next stage of life. Cancer is the only sign ruled by the moon, reminding us to turn inward, listen to our emotions, and find the nourishment needed to grow and evolve. Our focus will be on nurturing deep, meaningful connections to one’s home and close relations.

Dolphin Lake The Clubhouse

Most histories of Pullman focus on the men behind the "model town" experiment.&nbsp; But what changes when we focus on the experiences of women?&nbsp; Dr. Lauren Finnigan of Indiana University (South Bend) will explore how women's labor - both the "necessary" and the "ornamental" - shaped life at Pullman and created real forms of power within a highly controlled system.&nbsp; Rather than simply existing in an oppressive and paternalistic environment, we'll learn how women navigated, influenced, and often reshaped that world in unexpected ways.&nbsp; PLEASE NOTE: This program will take place at the&nbsp;Dolphin Lake Clubhouse, 2700 183rd St., Homewood.)This event is free and open to the public. Please join us for light refreshments before the program.

Rooted in traditional Hatha and Kriya yoga and inspired by energy-based techniques, this class weaves long-held postures, purposeful sequencing, philosophical insight, and immersive music to deepen your internal experience. Through breath, stillness, and mindful movement, you’ll awaken the body’s natural energetic flow and cultivate a profound sense of presence.
It is perfect for all levels, especially those seeking conscious movement and a deeper dive into yoga’s energetic and spiritual dimensions.To ensure that you can maximize the relaxing benefits of yoga in our studio, please note the following:

<li>Classes begin promptly at the time listed on the calendar. Doors will be locked once class begins.</li>
<li>Please plan to arrive between 10-15 minutes before class starts.</li>
<li>Bring your own yoga mat.</li>
<li>Please stay home if you feel sick in any way (COVID-related or not).</li>
<li>If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for, please deregister as soon as possible. You will not be able to deregister within 1 hour of the class start time.</li>
<li>If you do not deregister, a class credit will be deducted from your account. If you are a Monthly Unlimited member and you do not deregister, you will be charged the drop-in rate of $28.</li>

Shop and Dine for a Cause with the Cancer Support Center sponsored by the Homewood Business AssociationShop and Dine for a Cause at participating Homewood Business Association businesses on May 28th , 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. 
<hr>The Homewood Business Association (HBA), a 501(c)(3) organization, is proud to announce that the Cancer Support Center (CSC) has been selected as the recipient of its 2026 community fundraiser ‘Shop and Dine for a Cause’. This annual initiative brings together local businesses and the community to support a Homewood‑based not‑for‑profit organization.
Participating HBA retailers and restaurants will donate 10% of each purchase directly to the Cancer Support Center. Shoppers and diners must indicate at checkout that their purchase is in support of CSC for the donation to apply.
This fundraiser is designed to raise funds and awareness for the Cancer Support Center all while expanding visibility and strengthening the impact of both nonprofit organizations within the community.
“We’re so excited and grateful to be selected by the Homewood Business Association as the beneficiary of the Shop and Dine for a Cause fundraiser,” said Kristen Kolwelter, Executive Director of the Cancer Support Center. “This feel‑good community initiative helps us keep doing what we love—providing welcoming, supportive programs at no cost for anyone impacted by cancer.”
How to Participate? Shop, stamp, and win! Pick-up your passport at participating businesses. Visit participating locations to collect stamps with each purchase. Drop off your passport at your final stop for a chance to win HBA gift cards worth over $150—more stamps mean more chances to win!*Participants must mention they are shopping or dining in support of the Cancer Support Center for the donation to be applied.
Representatives from the Cancer Support Center will be at select stores from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to share programming information such as nutrition support, art therapy, and counseling. These programs and more are part of CSC’s six Pillars and are offered at no cost to anyone impacted by cancer: Child and Family Programs; Counseling and Stress Management; Fitness and Physical Wellness; Education and Networking; and Body Image Assistance.
