Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve

Move, breathe, and sit with intention under the open sky. This 40-minute Hatha-based class blends mindful movement, breath-centered practices (Pranayama), and stillness in nature to nourish body and spirit. We’ll begin with gentle, grounding postures, flow into focused breathwork, and close with a short guided meditation—all set against the serene beauty of Izaak Walton Preserve. 
Join us at the south entrance off Ridge Road for a practice that reconnects you to your breath, body, and the earth beneath you.To ensure that you can maximize the relaxing benefits of yoga, please note the following:
<ul>
<li>Class begins promptly at the time listed on the calendar.</li>
<li>Please plan to arrive between 10-15 minutes before class starts.</li>
<li>This class takes place at Izaak Walton Preserve. 
<ul>
<li>Enter the parking lot off of Ridge Rd. </li>
<li>At the stop sign turn right. </li>
<li>We will meet in the opening between the two cabins.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Bring your own yoga mat, a large blanket or plastic shower curtain to place under your mat, and a blanket to sit on for elevating the pelvis.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Please stay home if you feel sick in any way (COVID-related or not).</li>
<li>In the event of inclement weather (typically rain), this class will be canceled and will not be rescheduled or moved indoors.&nbsp;</li>
<li>If you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for, please deregister as soon as possible.&nbsp;</li>
<li>If you do not deregister at least one hour before the start of class, a credit will be deducted from your account. If you are a Monthly Unlimited member and you do not deregister at least one hour before class begins, you will be charged the drop-in rate for a single class.</li>

Serendipity Yoga and Wellness

Come share your rhythmic spirit and drum with us! Participants can expect to connect with others and enjoy the physical and mental health benefits of rhythmic entrainment. &nbsp;
Spear-It facilitators&nbsp;will guide participants&nbsp;through&nbsp;a joyful and engaging drum circle experience. A variety of hand drums and small percussion instruments will be provided. No prior musical experience is necessary.<ul>
<li>There is NO CHARGE for this event, but we invite you to bring a CASH DONATION.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Instruments will be provided, but individuals may bring their own hand drum or small percussion if desired.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Come dressed comfortably.</li>
<li>You may choose to sit on the floor or in a chair provided by the studio.&nbsp;</li>

If you have just two hours a week to spare, you can make a profound difference. Delivering meals fits seamlessly into a midday routine or lunch break. As a volunteer driver, you do far more than hand over a meal; you provide a friendly smile, a warm conversation, and a crucial safety check for a senior who might not see anyone else that day.
