Celebration of Life Set For Margaret "Peggy" Eaton, 80
The children of Margaret "Peggy" Eaton will be holding a celebration of life of their mother's life on Dec. 15.

HOMEWOOD, IL -- Margaret J. “Peggy” Eaton (Gooch), 80, resident of Mulberry, Fla. and Homewood, IL, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla. after losing her battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Born July 20, 1937 in Elkville, Illinois, she was the doting wife of the late Carl Eaton, loving and caring mother of the late Ricky Eaton, Ronnie (Barb) Eaton, Susie (Al) Blankshain, Sandy (Mike) Paolella and Lucy (Steve) Hunter; and proud grandmother of Ashley and Justin Eaton; Matthew and Spencer Moustis; Laura and Steven Blankshain; Kyle and Maggie Matthews; Dominic and Natalie Paolella; Hannah and Steven Hunter. Peggy was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Leeam and Bentlee. She was the loving sister of the late Carolyn Loucks; the late Judy Hogg and Patricia Purcell; and the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Ken Gooch.
Peggy retired as an assistant manager of the Kmart in Homewood. She was passionate about crocheting, reading, bowling and spoiling her many grandchildren. Internment Private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers or cards that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
